Abbas Hasan, President and Founder
Mr. Hasan is responsible for driving the Global Glimpse mission and daily execution. Prior to becoming a social entrepreneur Mr. Hasan led teams at Booz Allen Hamilton in developing and implementing strategies and operational solutions across a broad range of industries and companies. Mr. Hasan complements his business career with 12 years of youth volunteering and leadership with many organizations including IHAD, an after school program for at-risk youth, and the Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Hasan has traveled the world extensively and has a MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BS in Chemical Engineering from University of California at Berkeley. |

Aura Bermudez Ortiz, Central America Director
Ms. Bermudez Ortiz is responsible for the development of our staff, vendors and community service activities in Central America. Ms. Bermudez Ortiz has traveled extensively out of her native Nicaragua and her careers spans work with large US-based international businesses and nonprofits. Ms. Bermudez Ortiz has a BA in International Relations from University of Mobile, Alabama-Latin American branch. A native of Nicaragua, with family in Florida, Aura speaks fluent Spanish, English, French and Italian. |

Terry Cumes, Board Advisor
Mr. Cumes is the Managing Director of Intrax Study Abroad. He is responsible for the general management of Intrax's operations and strategy for both the college and high school programs. Mr. Cumes has lived abroad for many years and worked in travel for over a decade. Before joining Intrax, he ran an Ecotourism company in Peru and was European General Manager for Backroads in France. Mr. Cumes has a BA in Political Economics from UC Berkeley and an MBA from Stanford. A native of South Africa, Terry speaks fluent Spanish, Portuguese, and French. |

Karla Martin, Advisor
Ms. Martin is a Principal with Booz Allen & Hamilton. The focus of much of her work is on managing organizational complexity, the role of organization structures in driving growth and market opportunities. She also has extensive experience consulting to non-profit and mission driven organizations. Prior to joining Booz Allen & Hamilton, Ms. Martin was a senior litigation associate at the law firm of Shearman & Sterling. Ms Martin holds a JD with honors from Harvard Law School and an AB in Economics and Sociology from Harvard University. |
